Child Safety
Standards Policy

Stargram maintains a zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse material, exploitation, grooming, or any content that harms minors.

1. Our commitment

Stargram is committed to maintaining a safe and responsible social media platform. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, solicitation, exploitation, trafficking, or any behaviour that endangers a minor.

This policy applies to all areas of Stargram, including user profiles, posts, images, videos, reels, stories, comments, captions, usernames, bios, direct messages, links, groups, and any other user-generated content or communication features.

2. Published standards against CSAE

Stargram strictly prohibits any content, behaviour, or activity involving minors in a sexual, exploitative, abusive, harmful, or unsafe manner. Users must not create, upload, store, share, request, promote, encourage, or distribute content that involves child sexual abuse or exploitation in any form.

3. Prohibited behaviour

  • Any sexual content, nudity, or exploitative material involving a minor or appearing to involve a minor.
  • Sharing, requesting, promoting, linking to, selling, trading, or distributing CSAM.
  • Grooming, coercion, sextortion, blackmail, sexual solicitation, or attempts to move minors into unsafe communication channels.
  • Content that sexualizes minors, normalizes child exploitation, jokes about CSAE, or encourages abuse.
  • Impersonation, fake profiles, or deceptive behaviour used to contact, manipulate, or exploit minors.
  • Any activity that violates applicable child protection, online safety, or criminal laws.

4. User reporting mechanism

Users can report child safety concerns by contacting Stargram at support@stargram.co.in. Reports should include the username, profile link, content link, screenshots if available, date/time if known, and a short description of the concern.

For best handling, users may use the subject line Child Safety / Abuse Report. Stargram reviews child safety reports as a priority safety matter.

5. Content removal and account action

Any content, account, profile, message, media, or activity found to violate this policy may be removed, restricted, disabled, or permanently banned. Stargram may take action without prior notice when required to protect users or prevent harm.

6. Addressing CSAM

Stargram does not permit CSAM anywhere on the platform. If we become aware of apparent CSAM or child exploitation, we may remove or restrict the content, preserve relevant information, disable involved accounts, and report the matter to appropriate authorities or child protection organizations where legally required or appropriate.

7. Compliance with child safety laws

Stargram is committed to complying with applicable child safety laws, reporting obligations, platform requirements, and app marketplace policies. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorized law enforcement or child protection agencies.

8. Prevention and moderation

  • We review reports involving minors with priority.
  • We prohibit grooming, sexual requests to minors, exploitation, and attempts to move minors to unsafe private communication.
  • We may remove content, restrict visibility, disable accounts, preserve evidence, and escalate serious cases when legally appropriate.
  • We maintain clear standards so users understand that child exploitation is not allowed on Stargram.

9. Child safety point of contact

For urgent safety, abuse, or child protection concerns related to Stargram, contact us at support@stargram.co.in. If a child is in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services or law enforcement immediately.

10. Policy updates

Stargram may update this Child Safety Standards Policy to reflect improvements in our safety practices, legal requirements, and platform standards. The latest version will remain available on this page.
